<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Many countries use vessel monitoring system (VMS) data to monitor their fishery activities. However, VMS data is limited in terms of distinguishing operations involving illegal fishing gear. Recently introduced automatic identification system (AIS) data is advantageous for tracking fishing ship behaviors.AIS data include various types of information about a ship, such as its state of navigation and its broadcast rate on the radio channel. We interpolate AIS trajectory data with a regular time interval and extract the ship velocity and course change data for fishing ship gear classification. To simplify and condense the data, the course change index (CCI) and ship speed index (SSI) are applied to the ship velocity and course data. The proposed mapper combines CCIs and SSIs into key words, while the proposed reducer collects fishing ship gear type values that are of the same key.By using the proposed key-value dataset from the MapReduce procedure, we can classify fishing gear type. We evaluated the performance of the proposed model by using a test dataset. The results showed that the proposed model achieved 76.2% accuracy in the classification of fishing ship trajectories against the test dataset.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Now days, for the identification of personal information of a person, biometrics is mostly used. Also for the personal identification, the recognition of eye based biometric feature extraction is the most powerful tool. The biometric is an important identity to identify the individual. But in real time it is quite difficult to capture the better quality of iris images. The images obtained are more degraded due to the lack of texture, blur. In this paper, more convenient method is presented for extracting the features of biometric images. The method Iris Recognition at-a Distance (IAAD) is used to extract the iris features of biometric image and to enhance the quality of an image in a biometric system. The Chronological Monarch Butterfly Optimization -based Deep Belief Network (Chronological MBO-based DBN) is proposed for iris recognition to get better accuracy. The Monarch Butterfly Optimization algorithm is used to arrange the Chronological assumption of an iris image. Also, the Hough Transform algorithm is used for detection of iris circle and edge. The scaT T loop descriptor and the Local Gradient Pattern (LGP) are used for feature extraction, which is fed to the Chronological MBO-based DBN for iris recognition that enhances the accuracy. The Daugman’s rubber sheet model, median filter and trained neural network are used for normalization and segmentation. The UBIRIS.v1 database is used to take an iris recognition images and MATLAB is used for programming of for reading the iris images and for performing the Hough transform operations. The iris recognition at a distance 4 to 8 meter is done with the help of simulation result. The performance is analyzed based on the metrics, like False Acceptance Rate (FAR), accuracy, and False Rejection Rate (FRR) with the value of 0.4847%, 96.078%, and 0.4745%.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> In today’s world, the conditions of road is drastically improved as compared with past decade. Most of the express highways are made up of cement concrete and equipped with increased lane size. Apparently speed of the vehicle will increase. Therefore there are more chances for accidents. To avoid the accidents in recent days driver assistance systems are designed to detect the various lane. The detected information of lane path is used for controlling the vehicles and giving alerts to drivers. In this paper the entropy based fusion approach is presents for detecting multi-lanes. The Earth Worm- Crow Search Algorithm (EW-CSA) which is based on Deep Convolution Neural Network(DCNN) is utilized for consolidating the outcomes. At first, the deep learning approaches for path location is prepared using an optimization algorithm and EW-CSA, which focus on characterizing every pixel accurately and require post preparing activities to surmise path data. Correspondingly, the region based segmentation approach is utilizing for the multi-lane detection. An entropy based fusion model is used because this method preserved all the information in the image and reduces the noise effects. The performance of proposed model is analyzed in terms of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity, providing superior results with values 0.991, 0.992, and 0.887, respectively.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Biometric based authentication has several advantages over traditional password or PIN based authentication process because biometric is consists of physical or behavioural characteristics i.e fingerprint, face, Finger Knuckle Print (FKP), iris, voice etc. Unimodal biometric system h as some drawbacks i.e non universality, inter-class variation, intra-class variation; system can be circumvented by the skilled imposter etc. These drawbacks can overcome by multimodal biometric system as it combines more than one modality for authentication. When multimodal system combined with cryptography it makes system more robust and secure. In this paper, a robust multimodal biometric crypto system has been proposed, in which two modalities (FKP and face) are used for authentication of a person and one modality (fingerprint) is used for key generation. AES algorithm with fingerprint based key is used for securing the biometric templates. At authentication time, decision level fusion with AND rule is used for making the final decision. The proposed multimodal biometric crypto system is more robust and secure as compare with other multimodal biometric systems. Experimental results are shown with the help of MATLAB3. 2017b.</span><br />

Multiple bit errors in memories due to technology scaling demands advanced error correction codes. SEC-DEC, DEC, burst error detection, Golay code, Reed Solmon codes etc. have much decoding complexity and latency. The above drawbacks can be reduced with OLS codes. OLS codes with majority logic decoding technique, modular construction and simple decoding mechanisms it enables low delay improvements. MBU’S can be addressed using OLS-MLD codes. This paper presents a detail study of developments in multibit ECC’s using OLS-MLD mechanism.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Intrusion detection system (IDS) is one of the essential security mechanisms against attacks in WSN. Network intrusion detection system (NIDS) generally uses the classification techniques in order to obtain the best possible accuracy and attack detection rate. In this paper, Intrusion Detection System is designed which uses two-stage hybrid classification method. In the first stage it uses Support Vector Machine (SVM) as anomaly detection, and in the second stage it uses Random Forest (RF)/Decision Tree (DT) as misuse. The abnormal activities are detected in the first stage. These abnormal activities are further analyzed and the known attacks are identified in the second stage and are classified as Denial of Service (DoS) attack, Probe attack, Remote to Local (R2L) attack and User to Root (U2R) attack. Simulation results reveal that the proposed hybrid algorithm obtains better accuracy and detection rate than the single classifier namely, SVM, RF and DT algorithm. The experimental results also shows that hybrid algorithm can detect anomaly activity in a reliable way. Proposed technique uses the standard NSL KDD dataset to evaluate/calculate the performance of the proposed approach. Here the results show that the proposed Hybrid SVM-RF/DT IDS technique performs better in terms of detection rate, accuracy and recall than the existing SVM, RF and DT approaches.</span><br />
