Development of National Insight Based on the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 32 of 2011 in Malang Regency

Abstract: This study aims to explore some phenomena in the Malang Regency community system related to social insight, primarily associated with the erosion of the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among the people, especially in the younger generation. The perspective of this research approach is Inductive Qualitative Research. The research location is in Malang Regency which includes Kepanjen Subdistrict, Lawang District and Singosari District. The source of data is the people of Malang Regency by taking samples by snowball sampling or data source sampling techniques, which initially amounted to a little longer to become large. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The study found that the erosion of social insight in the Malang Regency community, especially in the younger generation, is believed to encourage internal divisions in the society. The length of the issuance of the Decree of the Malang Regent regarding the provision of Program grants for the formation of nationality insights became the biggest obstacle in the application of the Minister of Home Affairs regulation no. 32 of 2011. This study concludes that the positive results of national insight development activities are carried out using grant funds from the Malang Regency APBD based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 32 of 2011 received extraordinary attention from all elements in the community.
