<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> As regards protection, monitoring a certain objective has become a primary goal and thus has helped to incorporate the video technology into the industry. However, owing to its zigzag trajectory or shifts of position, it is often difficult to trace the imprevisible existence of the goal. This article therefore proposed the use of infrared cameras as sensors to monitor the object. The infrared camera is effective when the object changes its direction, like its contemporaries. Therefore, a pattern mapping technique was used for infrarouge goal monitoring. Ultimately, there was a distinction among the traditional Mean Absolute Difference (MAD) algorithm and the evolved V-SQ -track model used here. The findings show that the method of V-SQ -track model performs stronger than the MAD algorithm. Even if the modern algorithm is unable to do so, the artifacts can be monitored.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Soilsstabilization cansbesexplained as the alteration of the soilsproperties by chemical or physicalsmeans in order to improve thesengineering excellence of the soil. The main objective of the soil stabilization is to raise the bearingscapacity of the clay soil, its opposition to weathering method and soilspermeability. The long-termsperformance of any constructionsproject depends on the reliability of the underlying soils. unsound clay soils can create considerable problems forspavements, Thereforessoil stabilization techniquessare essential to ensure the good constancy of clay soil so that it can successfully uphold the loadsof the superstructure specially in case of clayssoil which are very active, alsosit saves a lot of time andsmillions of funds whenscompared to the technique of cutting out and replacingsthe unsound soil. In this Studysdeals with the entire analysis of the enhancement of black cotton soilsproperties and itssstabilization using Quarry Dust and industrial Foundry sand. The basic tests were carriedsout on soil, quarry dust and foundry sand are Atterberg’s Limit, Modified Proctor Compaction and CBR Test with addition of 5%, 10% and 15 % of Quarry Dust to soil sample after result analysis, obtained keeping Quarry Dust 15% constant and addition of Foundry sand 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. After test results the maximum CBR Value found at 15% Quarry Dust and 15% Foundry Sand. Dumping of these waste materials is necessary as these are causing dangerous effects on the surroundings. With the same purpose literature review is undertaken on consumption of solid desecrate materials for the stabilization of soils and their performance are discussed.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Reactive extraction is a sophisticated separation technique used for the recovery of carboxylic acids from fermentation broth. Levulinic acid is a versatile chemical. A right combination of extractant and diluent will provide a high yield. The reactive extraction of levulinic acid from aqueous solution with tri-n-octylamine (TOA) dissolved in 1-octanol was investigated at room temperature. The effect of pH was studied. From the physical and chemical equilibrium experimental results, the distribution coefficient (KD), extraction efficiency (E%), loading ratio (Z), stoichiometric loading factor (ZS) and modified separation factor (Sf) are calculated. It was found that physical extraction provided less yield compared to chemical extraction. A maximum KD was obtained as 5.248 using 40% TOA (0.9059 mol/L) while 83.99 % of the levulinic acid was extracted. By increasing the initial concentration of levulinic acid increased the concentration of levulinic acid in both the organic phase and aqueous phase. As the concentration of TOA increases from 10 to 40 % (0.2264 mol/L to 0.9059 mol/L), the distribution coefficient and extraction efficiency also increase. By increasing the pH from 3 to 7, the distribution coefficient and extraction efficiency were drastically affected.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Drilling industry has moved into a paradigm shift with the controlled Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) tuning, which provides optimum outcomes in recent decades. Interestingly the outcomes of several aspects of these PIDs are quite important for the industry sector. Many of the large industry or construction firms’ project that was seemed impossible at one point of time is now feasible. A significant amount of research has been commenced for tuning of PID controllers from the last six decades. Many tuning methods have also been proposed. Most of the tuning methods are model-based like Ziegler Nichols (ZN) method. It provides initial tuning of PID, which offer consistent result, but there is always suggested to fine-tune the PID controller further for the particular process to get optimum results. This paper represents a comparison for the several control schemes such as PID controller, PI with PD in feedback, PID with PD in feedback, PID-D and PID-PD controller and lead compensator. This relative study based upon rise time, settling time and peak-overshoot. The block diagrams were simulated in MATLAB, and their results are compared.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> This paper presents a non-isolated bidirectional soft-switching dc-dc converter for DC microgrid energy storage synchronization. To assist the soft switching of switches and diodes, the LCL resonant circuit is applied and an input end half-bridge boost converter is enforced. Using the voltage doubler circuit introduced on the output side, a voltage gain of 2X is achieved. Through the non-isolated circuit, the total voltage gain is obtained. The capacitive divider halves the voltage on the greater hand. The circuit performs a high frequency ripple of low output voltage. Diodes guarantee zero voltage Turn ON for switches and zero current turn ON and turn OFF during buck / boost operation Although no internal snubber circuits are available, the circuit ensures low voltage stress across semiconductor systems.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Now a day, government is more concerned about the environment, so inventory model for deteriorating product for multi-product with partial backlogging is modeled here by considering carbon emission cost under the influence of inflation. It is also assumed buyer have sufficient amount of money to pay the vendor in the beginning of the business but still buyer focus to avail the offer of trade credit offered by vendor. As demand of many products such as fashionable products, cold drinks etc., get stabilized after the acceptance by the market and take the form of ramp-type. So, while developing the model, ramp-type initial stock-dependent demand is considered. As the life time of the product is finite so finite planning horizon is considered here. To obtain the optimal solution, search algorithm is provided. To illustrate and validate the model, numerical example is provided. Further, to study the effect of important parameters, sensitive analysis is also carried.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> The growing use of Internet and availability of public and private digital data and its sharing among professionals and researchers need particular attention to information security. This information needs to be protected against unauthorized access and attacks. Digital communication witnesses a noticeable and continuous development in many applications in the Internet. Hence, secure communication sessions must be provided. The security of data transmitted across a global network has turned into a key factor on the network performance measures. So, the confidentiality and the integrity of data are needed to prevent eavesdroppers from accessing and using transmitted data. Presently, three main methods of information security being used: watermarking, cryptography and steganography. The aim of this paper is to develop a new approach to hiding a secret information in an image by taking advantage of benefits of combining cryptography and steganography. In this method first, the message is encrypted by using AES algorithm and hashed the key using SHA-2 to prevent from attacks. After that, we performed some modifications on PVD algorithm by adding a key to make hiding process non sequential. Results achieved indicate that our proposed method is encouraging in terms of robustness and security.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Hypoglycaemia symptoms vary between individual and across episodes making it difficult for the patients to realize if they are having a hypoglycaemia. Therefore, the ability to detect the onset of hypoglycaemia is important for quick corrective action. In this paper, we describe a Bayesian hierarchical model which is able to quantify the consistency of reporting symptoms by individual patient and simultaneously investigate patient-specific covariates affecting the consistency. The model is developed within a Bayesian framework using Markov chain Monte Carlo methodology where the consistency parameter is estimated via Gibbs sampling. The association between patient-specific covariates and consistency is investigated using generalized linear model before implementing the stepwise regression to identify the best predictive model. The results obtained show that symptoms classified as autonomic and neuroglycopenic are prominent in detecting the onset of hypoglycaemia. No patient-specific covariate appears to be significantly affecting patients reporting&#8217; consistency. However, the best predictive model obtained contains covariates gender, type of diabetes, retinopathy, serum angiotensin converting enzyme and C-peptide.The hierarchical model developed allows researchers to estimate patient’s consistency in reporting symptoms and identify factors affecting it under one setting.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Nowadays many people deaths in the world were reported from vehicle traffic accidents that involved with pedestrian impact in higher percentage. This percentage may increase if there is no strong attention to the pedestrian safety from automakers and authorities. This study will focus on the analysis of pedestrian head impact on a car hood with different types of materials; also the hood thickness will be analysed with different measurements during the head test impact using the numerical simulation analysis which is available in ANSYS finite element software. The pedestrian head and front hood will be modelled using CAD software. Therefore the simulation will demonstrate the effects on the impact performance for each type of materials with different thickness used in this research. The observation from the numerical analysis showed that aluminium had high deformation as compared to steel and magnesium materials of hood. The steel had lowest deformation but it had higher equivalent stress when compared to aluminium and magnesium. Furthermore the lowest type of thickness produced high deformation and high equivalent stress value for each material type. In general each material had its own characteristic; therefore manufacturers can evaluate the lower material cost or design a safe front hood using the same material but with different thickness that suitable for pedestrian safety.<br />
