<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Telugu ( ) is one of the Dravidian languages which is morphologically rich. As in the other languages it too contains polysemous words which have different meanings in different contexts. There are several language models exist to solve the word sense disambiguation problem with respect to each language like English, Chinese, Hindi and Kannada etc. The proposed method gives a solution for the word sense disambiguation problem with the help of n-gram technique which has given good results in many other languages. The methodology mentioned in this paper finds the co-occurrence words of target polysemous word and we call them as n-grams. A Telugu corpus sent as input for training phase to find n-gram joint probabilities. By considering these joint probabilities the target polysemous word will be assigned a correct sense in testing phase. We evaluate the proposed method on some polysemous Telugu nouns and verbs. The methodology proposed gives the F-measure 0.94 when tested on Telugu corpus collected from CIIL, various news papers and story books .The present methodology can give better results with increase in size of training corpus and in future we plan to evaluate it on all words not only nouns and verbs.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> The partial replacement of rice husk ash by cement in engineered cementitious composites had been reported to improve the properties of ECC especially its strength and extent of durability. There were no direct relation between the results of NDT in existing concrete structures. This article explores the relation between compressive strength of engineered cementitious composites and ultrasonic pulse velocity (direct and semi direct) method of hardened specimens. An experimental investigation was carried out which includes both destructive and nondestructive testing methods applied for ECC specimens containing rice husk ash and polypropylene fibres. Cubes of size 150mm * 150mm * 150mm are chosen for evaluation. Based on the outcome, relationships were derived for compressive strength and ultrasonic pulse velocity.</span><br />

The technology behind this Web of Things is advanced and is efficient solution for connecting the devices to the web and to attach the complete world of things in a network. The system deals with monitoring and controlling the environmental conditions like carbon monoxide, methane, hydrogen, LPG and flammable gases with sensors and send this data to the cloud server and draw the sensor data as pictorial statistics. The data upgraded from the enforced system is accessible within the web from anyplace within the world.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> In this paper a Comparative analysis is made between Indirect field oriented control and Space Vector Modulation based Direct torque control (SVM-DTC) methods to regulate the performance of the propulsion motor of a Battery Electric Vehicle(BEV) with road load under NEDC drive cycle. Owing to the splendid characteristics like rapid torque control and higher efficiency, the Induction Motor (IM) is adopted as the preeminent for BEV propulsion motor. The most significant techniques used for propulsion motor torque and speed control are Indirect field oriented control (IFOC) and Space Vector Modulation based direct torque control (SVM-DTC).In IFOC the propulsion motor control is achieved by synthesizing stator currents from two quadrature components, corresponding to flux and torque respectively. In SVM-DTC decoupling and linearization of current vectors through coordinate transformation is eradicated and a reference stator flux vector originated by the adaptive motor model provides d and q axis reference voltages fed to SVM. Simulation results are explored to accentuate the performance of the propulsion motor with road load for both methods under NEDC drive cycle.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Computerized fundus image analysis is a well-established research area in the field of medical imaging. The cause of noise in fundus images is due to many factors like the low lighting conditions, adverse illumination effects, camera malfunctioning, etc. The presence of noise may lead to data loss and sometimes to the wrong data interpretation. Classifying the fundus images into either good quality or bad quality is very important as the good quality fundus images can be directly sent for processing without any preprocessing, hence reducing the computational time and the bad quality images can be forwarded for the required preprocessing stages. In this paper, we are using a convolutional neural network (CNN) to assess the quality of fundus images automatically. We use No-reference image quality assessment technique (IQA) classify the fundus images into good quality or bad quality based on their quality. A Mean Opinion Square (MOS) of 12 image quality assessment participants is taken for labeling the 300 fundus images based on their quality. The participants have rated the fundus images on the scale of 0- 10, where the 0-rating is given for very bad quality fundus images, and 10-rating is given for the very good quality fundus images. The experimental study has proven that the classification result of the proposed CNN outperforms the best-known blind image quality assessment algorithms, namely, DIVINE, BLIINDS-II, and BRISQUE when trained on the public databases LIVE, TID2013 and on our fundus image dataset.</span><br />

This has led to inexpensive and easy production of data. Thus, there has been an increased advantage in the areas of Big Data and Machine Learning. In this paper, various machine learning algorithms are applied to predict diabetes, based on specific attributes. The performances of the algorithms are compared in terms of accuracy, voting based ensemble techniques is applied for the normalized pima diabetes data for which a highest accuracy is achieved.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> Distributed computing uses Hadoop framework for handling Big Data in parallel. Hadoop’s confinements can be exploited to execute various activities proficiently. These confinements are for the most part an immediate consequence of locality of data in the cluster, scheduling of tasks and various jobs and allocation of resources in Hadoop. Productive resource allocation remain as a challenge in Cloud Computing Map Reduce stages. Henceforth, we propose H2Hadoop, which is an enhanced architecture which decreases calculation cost related with Big Data analysis. The proposed framework additionally helps in solving the issue of resource allocation in local Hadoop. H2Hadoop provides a reliable, accurate and far faster solution for &#8220;text data”, such as finding DNA sequences and the theme of a DNA succession. Additionally, H2Hadoop gives an effective Data Mining technique for Cloud Computing environment. H2Hadoop design influences on Name Node&#8217;s ability to assign jobs to the Task Trackers (Data Nodes) inside the group. Building a metadata table containing information of location of data nodes with required features that are needed when in future a similar job is requested to the job tracker then it should compare the metadata and CJBT for assigning data nodes which were previously assigned instead of storing and reading through whole gathering again. Contrasting with local Hadoop, H2Hadoop diminishes time taken by CPU, number of read tasks, and other Hadoop factors.</span><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 16px;"><strong>Abstract:</strong> A recommendation system is that type of system which uses the entities such as “likes”, “preferences” and “ratings” in order to predict the items that a user would want. It is kind of a filtering system which suggests the users what products they would like to see. This technique can be used to counter the information overloading. In the current online world, information overloading is a major issue as we have a plethora of choices and this can be done using personalized systems. The recommendation systems can mainly classified into three types. The first is based on the content where the system uses the information regarding the other user to suggest and recommend the items which are most likely to satisfy the customer needs. Next is the collaborative filtering, where the own information of the individual is only taken into consideration. Finally, comes the trust-aware system, where the information related to the social media and its trust information is used to predict the user’s likings and his preferences.K- nearest neighbour(k-NN) is one of the best algorithms when it comes to the collaborative filtering(CF) and is used to fine tune the recommendation systems. It also deals with the information overloading problem which is mentioned above by generating predicted ratings for all those users who have not expressed their opinions. Here, in this paper we will try to discuss how one can use the trust as an alternative in order to overcome the limitations of collaborative filtering. A k-nearest recommenders (k-NR) algorithm is proposed in the paper where the user learns who all he or she should trust and up to what extent he can trust, by studying and assessing the ratings that the individuals have received.</span><br />
