Abstract: Many organizations utilize recommendation systems to increase their profitability and win over their customers, including Facebook, which suggests friends, LinkedIn, which promotes employment, Spotify, which recommends music, Netflix, which recommends movies, and Amazon, which recommends purchases. When it comes to movie recommendation system, suggestions are made based on user similarities (collaborative filtering) or by considering a specific user’s behavior (content-based filtering) that he or she wishes to interact with. Using TF-IDF, cosine similarity method for content-based filtering, and deep learning for a collaborative approach, this study compares two movie recommendation system. The proposed systems are evaluated by calculating the precision and recall values. On a small dataset, a content-based filtering methodology had a precision of 5.6% whereas a collaborative approach had a precision of 57%. Collaborative filtering clearly worked better than content-based filtering. Future improvements involve creating a single hybrid recommendation system that combines a collaborative and content-based approach to improve the outcomes.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to implement the restful method of the subsystem into a website-based integrated system for managing employee data and to update the employee data management system in an integrated manner. Data collection methods used are: observation, interviews, and library studies. The method used is the Rest method, better known as RESTful, in principle, a request for data to a RESTful web service is actually a reference or basic request in the delivery of resources through the media website. The results of the study prove that the resource itself is interpreted as anything that can be stored on internal digital storage data and displayed as an array of bits in the form of a softcopy of data or a blueprint of data, where the goal is to create a system that has good performance, is fast and easy to use. developed (scale) especially in data exchange and communication. The conclusion of this study is that the results of the implementation of an integrated system of data on periodic salary increases, promotions and employee leave are the solution to the problems that exist at the PSDKU State Polytechnic of Creative Media Makassar.

Abstract: Space Based technology both optical and microwave SAR Data is used to monitor the Earth at regular intervals which has its application in various fields viz., agriculture, water, urban and so on. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) has its advantage to penetrate through clouds, day-night imaging, all weather conditions and high resolution making it an effective system for crop monitoring, especially during Monsoon Season, as Optical Sensors doesn’t provide cloud free data. Sentinel-1 data has been used in recent studies to map and monitor rice-growing areas. The Sentinel-1 IW GRD data were used to monitor the ricegrowing area over Mahabubnagar District of Telangana State, which was processed in SNAP Software. Few plots were selected by conducting field survey during Kharif 2021. The Radar Vegetation Index (RVI) have been used to monitor the fluctuations in various stages of rice growth. This paper explains how multi temporal SAR observations can be used to monitor rice growing stages, as well as how to interpret σ°VHand σ° VV back scattering co-efficient.

Abstract: According to WHO, breast cancer is the disease that affects people the most frequently and most dangerously in the world. Researchers are paying more attention to breast cancer because of how deadly it is and how early detection can prevent it. Since the advent of supervised machine learning algorithms, the early detection of breast cancer has advanced. The usage of several machine learning techniques as well as ensemble algorithms is demonstrated in the study. The outcomes were extremely precise, allowing for the best-possible cancer prediction. The paper’s modest goal is to save people suffering from the disease by enabling them to know if the detected tumour is cancerous or non-cancerous, being Malignant. It focuses on early diagnosis of breast cancer. This paper would be useful and aiding for those who are novel researchers in prediction and diagnosis of breast cancer using machine learning.

Abstract: A smart water management system basically refers to a system created to collect information on the distribution, pressure, and flow of water in a city or town. Our principal objective is to improve the current system for managing and meeting the water needs of urban areas. Our goals include meeting urban areas’ water needs while [1] ensuring sustainability and security, developing a rainwater harvesting system nearby the water treatment facility for additional use, developing a mechanism to identify the source of leaks and water shortages in the supply system, and coming up with ways to reuse wastewater from the washing machine and kitchen faucets.

Abstract: Currently, cloud computing is being considered as a possible replacement for providing storage services. Security concerns with cloud storage might prevent its mainstream adoption. New security hazards to cloud storage include data breaches, malicious alterations, and data loss. For safe storage employing different clouds, a three-tier architecture built on Fog servers has recently been described. Hash Solomon’s code and a specially created hash algorithm are the fundamental methods employed to accomplish the task. This does not, however, provide improved change detection and data recovery and results in the loss of a tiny amount of data to cloud servers. This research suggests a unique secure cloud storage system focused on fog to guard against illegal access, alteration, and destruction of data. The suggested strategy employs a novel method of data obscuration to prevent unwanted access. Additionally, the outcomes of Block – Management to stop unauthorised access and provide greater recovery in case of data loss. In addition, we provide a method based on a hash algorithm to make it simpler to find high-probability changes. Through security analysis, we show that the suggested approach is reliable. Experimental findings support the suggested scheme’s performance advantage over modern alternatives in terms of data processing speed.

Abstract: Carbon nano materials (CNM) in the form of Graphene oxide and Reduced Graphene oxide decorated with metal nano particles were prepared from cotton as precursor – a green sustainable method. Various parameters were used for synthesis of carbon materials. Taguchi Optimization methodology – a statistical method, was used to arrive at the optimized parameters for synthesis to reduce the number of experimentations thus accentuating the green technology. Microwave is used in various techniques like communication, cell phones & satellite, military weapons viz. stealth technology, RADAR etc. The synthesized CNMs were assessed for their Microwave Absorption (MA) properties for their possible use as RADAR absorbing materials. 96 to 99% MA was observed in 2-8 GHz frequency range with reflection loss up to – 25 dB. These studies were carried out in the materials having thickness of 2-5 mm. Deviation in MA as well as in reflection losses were also observed when the decorating metal was changed due to the difference in the size of the metal atoms and corresponding shielding effects.

Abstract: High strength concrete is being required due to the construction industry’s growth. Admixture and supplemental cementing materials (SCMs) are employed to attain this strength. According to earlier research, nanoparticles with a high surface area to volume ratio, such as colloidal nano-silica (CS), which contains an amorphous silicon dioxide (SiO2) core and a hydroxylated surface, have the potential for extremely high chemical reactivity. This study examined the results of adding metakaolin and colloidal silica to concrete in varying amounts. Tests in accordance with Indian standards have been conducted in order to evaluate and compare the mechanical properties of concrete, such as compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength, while employing different percentage replacements of metakaolin and colloidal silica. According to Indian norms, 150mm cubes were cast for compressive strength tests and 150mm diameter by 300mm height cylinders were produced for split tensile strength tests. In the investigation, metakaolin was used in instead of 10 to 30 percent cement mass, and 0 to 6 percent colloidal silica was added. The results of the experiments indicate that the most optimal mixture, for which the most desirable strength was obtained, is 10% metakaolin and 2% colloidal silica.

Abstract: Nigeria road pavement is subjected to have low road density of 23km/m2 of the pave land area and justification for this material stress, functional disability and loss of cohesion. In Ebonyi state there is needs to assess the impact of failed road pavement on economic growth and social stability of the state. Most of the state urban roads failed because of many vehicles passing in definite section of the road per unit time at any suitable period, subjecting the paved areas into physically disintegration of crystalline aggregated material informed of ruttings, pothole, raveling and cracks and some deteriorate or decomposed in a large number of cement aggregate into organic matter causing chemical separations and moisture attack on the paved area by attacking the fabric bond of the binding pavement. The aim of this research is to analyze roads pavement failures for effective cost management. The research design comprised extensive literature. This research was to facilitate the measurement of variables on affected areas causing surface depression and surface deterioration on large number of aggregated crystalline material from rehabilitation of the respective road projects. The research was design to measure stress types, stress values, stress seventy and stress density derive from affected paved area. The data collected were presented in tables, percentage, and pie chart and analyzed with multiple regressions. The findings will establish the state of stress over strain will be sustainable for road pavement in urban areas. The model implies based on the data collected the cause of stress values in urban roads increase by 0.284 (28.4%) were trigger increase in road rehabilitation, repairs and remedial works by 0.77, 0.31 and 0.60 and which were ascertain the level of cost implementation for effective life cycle costing on urban roads in the state.
